The players with the most titles

The most successful player in French Open history is Chris Evert with an impressive total of 7 titles won over a period of 13 years, between 1974 and 1986. Steffi Graf and Suzanne Lenglen are second, just 1 title behind, with 6 tournaments won each. In third place are Margaret Court and Adine Masson with 5 titles.

These 5 players are the ones with the most finals won at the French Open. Between them, they have won 29 titles, which represents 24.8% of the 117 finals played. These achievements have consolidated these players as the most outstanding in this tournament.

It is interesting to highlight that in addition to standing out among the champions of the French Open, Chris Evert, Steffi Graf and Margaret Court are also among the all-time winners of Grand Slam tournaments in general (i.e. including the Australian Open, the US Open and Wimbledon).
